Tom Nickson is Reader in Medieval Art & Architecture at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London. His research interests include Gothic art and architecture across Europe, and encounters between Christian, Islamic and Jewish traditions, especially in medieval Iberia. He is the author of the book Toledo Cathedral: Building Histories in Medieval Castile (Penn State University Press, 2015).
